My name is Josie Le Blond, I’m a British-German author currently working as a speechwriter for clients at the highest levels of the United Nations.

Before turning to long-form writing I spent more than a decade as a journalist and editor, covering news, politics, history and culture in Germany, Europe and beyond.

Reporting chiefly for the Guardian, my work has appeared on BBC Online, the Financial Times, and Reuters, among others. In 2016 I was included on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in the European media category.

Now I'm writing a book uncovering the forgotten Nazi past of Berlin's world famous Tempelhof Airport.
